I got teeth pulled at the dentist and ate a pb&j sandwhich when I was still numb and was wondering why I bit something crunchy when it had smooth peanut butter. Once the numbing wore off, my tongue really started to hurt on one side and I had to keep replacing gauze because of all the bleeding, so I asked my mom if she could see anything and she about went through the roof with how terrified she was. I had bit a huge gash right through the side of my tongue. 1/10 would not recommend

i ate a burger after getting my mouth numbed at the dentist, and bit my tongue super hard it started bleeding.. so... definitely wait after you get numbed LOL, or be extra careful!
