ACU’s British Extreme Enduro Championship 2022 season debuted with Round 1 Tong with more than 150 competitors including world hard enduro champion Billy Bolt. Heavy rain cold weather made it really hard for everyone but the enthusiasm kept us all warm enough to hang in. This year’s Tong surprised us with a track update to the conventional one that we knew over the years. With the new format the track got longer with really nice bits but it kept signature sectors like the tricky waterfall. PM race started 12:30 local time and the challenge continued for two and a half hours. Billy Bolt had a good start and started stretching his lead but early in the race he lost his front brake. My new enduro bike is the dream, I received a new enduro mountain bike today so I build it up before going riding at the local MTB trails! How sick is this? My new MTB is surprisingly not a Haibike but all will be revealed in the video. After building up this amazing bit of kit I take my new Ghost mountain bike in to the woods to ride my local MTB trails as a first test for this machine. This enduro bike is closer to a freeride mountain bike and after riding it for the short time that I did I think this is going to be an awesome bike and maybe become one of my favourites! The bike has a slack head angle and is clearly aimed at going fast so I'm excited to get out of Essex and find some bigger hills as soon as possible! Especially on tight trails it is very important to gain full control of your motorcycle in order to be safe and go faster. 1. Foot position: You have to make sure that you ride your dirt bike on the balls of your feet. This will allow you to drop your heels, open up your ankles and control the Enduro or Dual Sport bike from your foot peg up. 2. Arm and Chest Position: Keep your chest forward and your arms slightly bent. This position will allow you to work with you motorcycle and keep control when braking or exhilarating. 3.
